LeAnne Tychsen

LeAnne was born and raised in Tallahassee and is married to Pete. They have five children. As a homeschool mom, her priority has been her children and as she is now on the verge of being an empty nester entering a new chapter, she realized how much she loves dancing!

At a recent homeschool high school dance, she taught line dancing and so enjoyed helping the kids (and parents) learn line dancing which inspired her to seek this opportunity to teach line dancing.

Teaching with Redefine Fitness amongst other Believers in a Christian atmosphere is a blessing to her. She delights in encouraging the dancers at whatever level they are, while appreciating how God designed our brains and bodies to learn new things and, in this case, basic dance steps, progressing to dance patterns and then fun and lively dances. In the art of line dancing, one will get the heart pumping, reduce stress, improve balance and coordination, memory and rhythm all while having fun!

Fun Facts:

Hobbies: LeAnne enjoys dancing, and more dancing, taking classes at the gym and learning new DIY projects.

Fun Fact: “I was in the FSU Circus and performed a variety of acts, a few of which are hand balancing, Mexican cloud swing, high wire and teeter board. I so loved performing and am grateful for many other character-building benefits of my involvement such as teamwork, dedication, and hard work, even when it just plain hurts. It was here that I really developed a love of fitness and of challenging myself to set and reach goals I never knew possible. Today, I still think, ‘if I could make my body learn that really hard trick, then I can reach this goal now.’
