Charlotte Townes

Charlotte Townes was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She has one son, Javier, whom she enjoys spending time with. As a kid, Charlotte loved reading poetry and various types of short stories. This love led her to attend college and earn a B.A. in English.

After graduating from college, Charlotte enlisted in the U.S. Army and served our country for four years. She was stationed in various places, but the most memorable were Cuba and Germany. Her time abroad deepened her appreciation for America's global importance and left her grateful to be an American.

Upon completion of her military service, Charlotte moved to Tallahassee and has worked for the State of Florida for more than 20 years. She developed a passion for exercise in middle school. As an adult, she developed a fondness for group fitness when she attended her first class at the Tallahassee YMCA in 2017. It was there that she attended her first indoor spinning class and has been hooked ever since.

Charlotte understands the challenges that come with trying to get in shape and having to overcome injury to do so. She is dedicated to helping people at every fitness level improve their health and well-being.
